CASA El MORISCO: ANDALUCIA: Land of light, flamenco & moorish palaces

Andalucia is called „The Land of Light” and apart from its beautiful countryside, flamenco and cultural sights, is well known for its many glorious sun filled days, which are far above the average in Europe.
Here on the „Costa del Sol" the summer & winter temperatures are enhanced by its maritime influence, with cooling breezes in the summer and a mild climate in the winter. Here an abundance of fruits ripen & the flowers blush the countryside with bright colors.

You will find CASA EL MORISCO approx. 1 km from the beach and 20 km east of Málaga, surrounded by tree covered hills , in a valley open to the sea. This is a lush green paradise and a place of peace, rejuvenation and relaxation. Many sub-tropical plants & fruit trees thrive here including avocados and figs, bananas and pomegranates, mangos and vines, nisperos and bouganvilleas, all of which lift the heart and are a delight to the eye.

The generous facilities include two beautiful ca. 100 m2 studios for yoga & meditation, a swimming pool and sauna, lawns and restaurant. Especially loved is the "Indian Garden," with its exotic plants, temple, waterfall & pond, the home to fish and tortoises. It invites one to linger awhile and dream.
